A map of Borneo’s cities
Borneo is one island shared by three countries. Borneo Maps puts its cities on one map, so you can see where each sits, and gives the basic facts about each one with their sources.
What it covers
19 cities in Malaysia (Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan), Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia (the provinces of Kalimantan). The list comes from the place registry of Borneo.page. It is a starting set, not a ranking and not a final definition of a city.
Each city page shows the country, the state or province, the latest census population for a named area, the coordinates and the nearest cities. It is not a travel guide or a business directory, and it does not rank cities.

Where the data comes from
Every figure is copied, unchanged, from Borneo.page’s data files, where each value records its source, the exact table it came from and who checked it. This build uses the data as of commit ab7b85f, copied on 2026-09-25.
Population figures come from the national statistics offices: the Department of Statistics Malaysia (Census 2020) and Badan Pusat Statistik (Sensus Penduduk 2020). Bandar Seri Begawan and Nusantara have no city-level figure yet. Census areas differ between countries, so every figure names the area it measures. City populations are not directly comparable across borders.
City names in Chinese have not yet been reviewed by a fluent reader.
